Do you have a tiny voice inside your head that constantly tells you that you’re not good enough? If so, you might be struggling with Imposter Syndrome.

Are you an imposter?

No, really. Think about it.

Who told you that you weren’t good enough?

That you would never amount to anything?

That you shouldn't be where you are because you haven’t earned this coveted spot in life?

You may not even remember. But somewhere along the line, you internalized the message that you had to be perfect to succeed. And perfectionism became your mantra.

Over time, that perfectionism has morphed into Imposter Syndrome — a persistent belief that you’re not as competent as others think you are.

Imposter Syndrome can be debilitating. It can cause you to doubt your every decision and second-guess your every move. It can make you feel like a fraud, even when you’re not. But here’s the good news: you’re not alone.

In fact, research suggests that Imposter Syndrome is relatively common, especially among high-achievers. Those who seek to achieve perfection are particularly vulnerable to its effects.
